Your Android phone uses GPS satellites to pinpoint its exact location outdoors. The
LocOf GPS Tracker app records these GPS coordinates every second and uploads location data to our secure servers every 15 seconds when internet connection is available (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, or 5G).
Multi-Device Coordination: When multiple devices are connected through friendship authorizations, all locations appear on a shared map with distinct colored trails. Real-time updates show the current position of each device, making it easy to coordinate groups or monitor fleets.
Why does GPS tracking sometimes show zigzag lines or "scribbling" on the map? GPS requires a clear view of the sky to work accurately. When you're indoors, in tunnels, underground, or between tall buildings (urban canyon effect), GPS signals weaken significantly, causing less precise location readings. This is normal behavior for all GPS devices and smartphones - not a problem with our app.
Privacy & Authorization: You can only track Android devices with proper authorization. Each device owner must approve "friendship" connections, and tracking permissions can be revoked at any time. This ensures ethical and legal GPS tracking practices.
